Artists are Not Machines
I've been noticing a trend lately, mostly on DA, were people have been telling artists what they can and cannot post. Apparently it's become acceptable to do this now, but when has that ever been okay to do?
If an artist wants or needs to vent/rant in some way, let them. Artist's experience human emotion same as anyone else, and holding in a bunch of negative emotions is never healthy. There are times were shouting into the void as a form of venting or ranting, can really be of help to relieve tension. (It can even aid in getting help/useful advice from others who have been in similar situations,too)
Seeing an increase in people leaving comments on artist's vents basically telling them it's not okay for them to vent, it's concerning. Some go even as far as guilting artists for posting such. By doing that those people are basically telling an artist to "shut up and just post art".
